Long And Foster Real Estate

My foray into real estate started in a quite unlikely manner. During college, the rent on the three bedroom townhouse that friends and I rented was increasing to $1,850 per month. While this change was not welcome, it also led me to consider the profits the landlords on my street were earning. My focus quickly changed from that of tenant to becoming a homeowner. I searched until I found a property that was a bit nicer than my three bedroom rental which, rather than coming with a $1,850 per month rental price, would offer a monthly mortgage payment of just over $600. I later used equity in this home to buy another and transformed from tenant to landlord. From this rather simple beginning my career as a real estate agent and consultant was born.
