After criminal tax fraud charges were filed against building owners George Hranowskyj and Eric Menden, and a guilty plea to related charges by Menden, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Frank Santoro said enough is enough.

"I am at the end of my patience," Santoro said at a hearing Friday morning.

Of Menden and Hranowskyj, the judge said he had "extreme anger at the greed and hubris that led to this situation" and added that Menden and Hranowskyj were "dishonest and dishonorable landlords."
