As of 2009, a real estate agent's average yearly income was $53,100 according to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Real estate agents in the 10th percentile earned $20,800 per year; those in the 25th percentile earned $27,370 per year; those in the 50th percentile earned $40,100 per year; those in the 75th percentile earned $63,510 per year; and those in the 90th percentile earned $96,410 per year.
